1. Scope of Services
We provide lash and brow styling services, non-invasive skincare treatments, and injectable aesthetic procedures performed exclusively by qualified and authorised professionals.
2. Bookings and Confirmation
Appointments may be booked via WhatsApp, email or the contact form on our website.
We reserve the right to request a booking fee or deposit. An appointment is deemed confirmed only once confirmation has been provided by Beauty by Polka.
3. Prices and Payments
All prices are listed in GBP and may be subject to change.
Payment methods include cash, card, or other options available at the salon.
Any deposit paid is deducted from the total service price and is non-refundable in the event of late cancellation, as outlined in section 4.
4. Cancellations and Late Arrival
- Cancellations or rescheduling made at least 24 hours prior to the appointment incur no charge.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment result in forfeiture of the deposit or a charge of 50% of the service price.
- Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may result in a shortened or cancelled appointment, with applicable charges retained.
5. Contraindications and Consent
Clients are required to disclose all relevant health conditions, allergies, medications and previous treatments.
Injectable procedures require completion of a client consultation form and signed informed consent.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a treatment where client safety may be compromised.
6. Results and Aftercare
Treatment results may vary between individuals.
Post-treatment aftercare instructions are provided and must be followed. Failure to comply may affect results.
Any concerns or complaints must be reported within 72 hours of the appointment and supported by photographic evidence.
7. Minors
Services for individuals under the age of 18 require written consent from a parent or legal guardian.
Injectable procedures are not performed on individuals under 18 years of age under any circumstances.
8. Hygiene and Safety
All services are performed in accordance with strict hygiene, sterilisation and clinical waste disposal standards.
9. Gift Vouchers and Promotions
Gift vouchers are valid until the expiry date stated and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Promotions and offers cannot be combined unless explicitly stated otherwise.
10. Liability
Beauty by Polka shall not be held liable for outcomes resulting from:
- failure to disclose relevant medical information,
- non-compliance with aftercare instructions,
- individual or idiosyncratic reactions.
Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
11. Personal Data
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
12. Amendments and Governing Law
We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
The version published on our website shall apply.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
